Create Package Swap Groups/Upgrades & Package Sharing
When a client purchases a package, they often want flexibility in how they redeem it. Boulevard's "or" logic already lets businesses group services of equal value so clients can swap between them — for example, swapping a 60-minute massage for an upper body treatment. However, there's no way to handle upgrade scenarios where a client pays the difference but still keeps their package pricing on the base service — like upgrading a 60-minute massage to a 90-minute, or swapping a lower-priced facial for a higher-priced one. Right now staff have to manually add upgrade charges after the voucher redeems, which is error-prone, doesn't work with online booking, and doesn't track cleanly in reporting. I'd like to see a feature where businesses can pre-define upgrade options within a package, and when a client redeems an upgraded service, the register automatically applies the package pricing to the base service and charges the difference for the upgrade — all within a single, connected transaction. Additionally, many businesses need the ability to share packages across client profiles so clients can share things like a 10-pack of 60-minute sessions with a spouse or family member, with a way to mark a package as "sharable" and let staff pull up another client's package at checkout.
