We'd love to see an option for staff to sell and deliver digital gift cards directly from the Boulevard backend.

Right now, the only way to send a virtual gift card is for the client to purchase it themselves online. This creates a frustrating experience because we frequently have clients in the salon who want to buy an e-gift card for someone else. Many people prefer digital gift cards over physical ones.

For example, today a client wanted to purchase a digital gift card for her sister while she was in the salon. I tried to complete the purchase for her through the online booking page, but she only had Apple Pay available. Since Apple Pay couldn't be used in that situation, we weren't able to complete the purchase. She said she would do it herself at home, but there's no guarantee she'll remember or follow through.

As a result, we lost an immediate sale and now have to spend additional time following up with the client. This creates unnecessary friction for both our staff and our customers.

Giving staff the ability to sell and email digital gift cards directly from the POS or backend would streamline the process, improve the client experience, and help prevent lost revenue.
