Partial Product/unit Checkout & Tracking
Partial-unit product usage is critical for medical aesthetics. We regularly use and charge fractional quantities of injectable products, such as 0.5, 0.75, or 1.5 syringes of dermal filler.
Currently, products added directly at checkout only accept whole-number quantities, which prevents accurate billing and inventory tracking for partial syringes. This forces practices to create duplicate workaround products, manually override prices, or leave inventory inaccurate.
Please allow decimal quantities for products and product usage, including:
Partial units at checkout, such as 0.5 syringe
Automatic prorated pricing based on the product’s unit price
Automatic inventory deduction for the exact quantity used
Support for partial prepaid product units/credits
Clear reporting of units used versus units remaining
For example: a client receives 0.5 syringe of a $700 filler. Boulevard should charge $350, deduct 0.5 from inventory, and preserve the remaining 0.5 syringe for accurate stock tracking.
