Gift card sales are counted as income when the gift card is sold. When the client redeems the gift card, it is NOT counted as income again —
Gift card sales are counted as income when the gift card is sold. When the client redeems the gift card, it is NOT counted as income again — it is only a form of payment. This needs to be corrected in the reports and summaries. It makes it look like the gift card was purchased again as a sale.
