Pronouns
Have a section within the client profile to see what pronouns they are using.

We received this comment today.
Noticed you put "preferred" pronoun. My company was called out for offering this option- but we were told that pronouns are not preferences- it should just say "pronouns". Love Rudy's and we will continue to visit regardless! Thanks for being awesome, inclusive and progressive.
Any chance you can update this selection on the booking portal?
thank you,
Jeff

Some clients prefer she/they or he/they pronouns but this is not an option in the client profile.

Similar to Instagram; small, subtle text.
Preferably not just on the client's profile but with their full name on the calander view.

We would love to have a 'preferred pronoun' section on the online booking widget so our clients can feel safe when arriving!

Have the clients write in their pronouns on their end and then have it displayed next to their name and phone number on books.

I have spent a lot of my career trying to ensure a safe space for people, and one of the ways i do that is by being part of a non gendered salon service list. So much anxiety is created by salons forcing people to use a specific gender to book or by misgendering clients even if they have non gender specific booking options. To lessen the chances of a potentially hurtful and embarrassing situation could there be a optional "Preferred pronouns" option on the client profile?

Pronouns are part of a person's identity and should be part of basic information (such as name, etc) when a new client registers.

It allows us to more easily create a safe space for our non-binary and trans clients and prevents any uncomfortable situations in which someone could be misgendered. It's a logical moment to ask when collecting all of their other information.
