Deactivating Staff - Show WHERE the remaining appointments are
When DEACTIVATING STAFF, it will show that the staff member has an upcoming appointment, and that continuing to deactivate will not cancel the appointment, but may hide it.
PLEASE make it so that we can find WHERE this appointment is. Dates. Times. Etc. It's crazy to look around and still not find it. Sometimes it several months into the future.

This has been an issue because I have changed the email in hopes the fired stylist wouldn't have access to my salon books while we make the accommodations for the clients that are left and found out three weeks later the old stylist had full access to the books and would check up on formulas at her leisure. Deactivating doesn't give access to see appointments which is frustrating so thought changing the email would be efficient enough, WRONG!!!
I now know that is a MAJOR issue because I lost a lot of money due to it. I made a new “role” named it “transition” set it to only usable in this IP address which is the salon address. I deactivated it to disconnect the old stylist then reactivated it and set it to my new named role and it gives us the time to move everyone accordingly.
Hope this idea will help someone from losing lots of money!!!

AND please keep those appointments on the screen from the past! Sometimes we want to review past appointments for a deactivated stylist but cannot see them on the schedule!

When dealing with this I will go in & remove their schedule from their last day on & pull a report of their staff schedule for the next year (or depending how far out your biz books out) then I will download that report & reach out to those clients from there. Then they can't be booked past their last day & you can still see the appointments that are remaining you need to reschedule then deactivate or lessen all the permissions after you handled those clients.

this function is odd but ive gotten somewhat of the hang of it. just feel theres a better way to keep some things we need to know and easily erase the others. i would love to clean up some of our histroy of staff before i understood how to get rid of appointments. because i didn't erase all appointments guests get emails for people that don't work here any more. like i said i don't have the answers just feel this function needs some love.

The whole way that deactivating a staff member removes all upcoming appointments and all previous history from the calendar is frustrating. At a minimum it should keep historical appointments on the books just for reference. Often a calendar view is the only way to get some information, and it is missing when a staff member has been deactivated.

Some of this is related to removing service providers from the past schedule when they are deactivated. It is annoying to look at years past and think that not much was scheduled on a date because providers closed appointments are no longer showing in the schedule. This can be an issue when tracking down who was involved in a group appointment, or just seeing what the schedule looked like historically.
It would be nice to have something that will still show a provider on the schedule if there are appointments attributed to them, even if they are deactivated. They can be removed from future dates if there are no appointments scheduled for them, and they will remain on past dates with closed appointments that are assigned to them.

... no obvious or easy way to see the appt which in some cases would even be confirmed. The client will have the future appt on their client profile as scheduled appts. The client will actually receive reminder and confirmation messages for the appts too. The client will have the concept that their appt is set at that time AND with the terminated service provider (deactivated). Then the business will potentially have a trainwreck to quickly deal with it if they can.
I do not have what is a perfect solution for all Blvd partners, BUT I think this would be a good potential solution:
Upon deactivation of any service provider, a report is provided at deactivation that lists all future appts on that service provider and a suggestion that the person doing the deactivation should mitigate this issue using their business' standard operating procedures.
Upon deactivation, the appts now switched to either a "grey mode" version of the service provider that shows on Calendar and Front Desk view regardless of the profile deactivation. Or these appts be diverted to a "generic" service provider profile that collects ALL these appts that no longer have a service provider. Businesses should deal with the appointments manually especially if anyone is paying attention.
If there is an appt coming up in the next week that does NOT have an active service provider, BLVD should provide a top-level notification on the notifications that stays atop stating, "Kimberly Petras has scheduled service(s) on Tuesday that need to be assigned a service provider".
Lastly I feel it would be prudent to relegate these orphaned appts to the Waitlist automatically and denote that they are waitlisted appts due to the termination of a staff member.
Most importantly the CURRENT flow is that these orphan appts will get reminders and confirmations that allude to the clients thinking their service provider is still present. And on TOP of that we will have no record of those appts on Front Desk View or Calendar View which will no doubt cause hiccups.

This makes it impossible to look at previous schedules to conduct business properly. So we must leave staff "active" but with degraded permissions. Please allow for deactivated but still show on retro schedules!

When a service provider no longer works at our studio, we would like the option to move all appointments to another staff member when deactivating.
