Right now it nearly always goes back to "today" view which is extremely time consuming of a default if one is doing any amount of work or inspection on a different date and view.

For example, I am going through a day in 2018 to look at a stylists appt times and checkout times, I click on one appointment to look at the closeout time. Now to go to the "next appt" I will have to go back to calendar, go to date picker, doom scroll for the intended date, click that subsequent appt for inspection, look at the information, then rinse and repeat.

The arbitrary return to Today view "reset" potentially could cost a boulevard user many orders of time on software navigation/manipulation rather than actual work that needs to be performed.
