Loyalty Program customization
We would love to be able to customize the loyalty program either through the program itself or with promotions. Like earn double points on service X or product Y. This would be a good way to help us promote slow sellers while ensuring that customers will be coming back to use their points.
On a more permanent basis I would love to have higher points earned on my higher margin services to push people to book more of those.

We just launched our Loyalty Program, and I was talking with the team about some things we would like to see improved if this works out well for our clients:
1. Would love to be able to exclude services from loyalty points redemption (we have mostly renters)
2. Have an expiration date on Loyalty Points
3. Have client's point balance visible on their receipts and in the client portal online
4. Automatically email/text the client when their loyalty points are about to expire -

Hello,
I’d like to discuss some adjustments to your system to better align with our loyalty program needs. Currently, the setup doesn’t accommodate our preferred point structure. For example, we’d like $100 to equal 10 points, but the system forces us to assign one dollar per point. This setup isn’t suitable for the way we’ve structured our treatments and makes it challenging to apply across all our clients without extensive manual updates.
Would you consider making the system more customizable to allow for different point conversion rates? This flexibility would significantly enhance the usability of your platform for our business.
Thank you for considering this request.

My old system square I was able to work around the system and add “services” that were weren't just tied to a dollar amount. I was able to set the service to whatever points I wanted. Ex. If a client left a review, 10 points. Then “service” (review) was added at checkout and added the points automatically. We set it for things we would upsell or 5 points for every $20 retail. It tied back to once X amount they got X amount off and were able to bank them for more or free services. It was the easiest way to upsell!! We would remind them of their points as they arrived as a game. Ex. After your color today you will have enough points for a free wax or $10 off retail.
I want to give to the clients who are willing to go the extra mile with us. The current dollar-to-dollar setup doesn't fit our vibe.

Allow loyalty points to be set up to reflect other amounts outside of $1 spent = $1+ earned. For example, allowing other parameters such a client can earn $1 with every $100 spent (or whichever the desired threshold.)

Loyalty Point Accrual and Redemption "Rules" For example, ability to exclude certain products for product categories from earning points (like Green Circle Fees!). Another example, BLVD currently treats service packages as a "product", which accrue loyalty points, even though they are not technically products.
Restrict redemption to only products or services that do not have other offers applied to them.
Restrict redemption rules to either products or services, or both if desired...For example, if points are only accrued for product purchases, a restriction preventing them to be able to be redeemed for services would be ideal.

Is there currently a way to reward someone for afriend referral? This is a good idea in the loyalty program. Or is it an offer?

Would like to be able to control how many loyalty points are being used at one time. We have the policy that 200 points gets you $10 off, but sometimes they will be able to get $12 or $15. We aren't able to adjust the discount so they can only redeem at multiples of $10. We also don't want them to earn points on anything besides products, so making sure that we can customize the settings as much as possible is really important.

Ability to customize loyalty points by cents in the set up/conversion, and also the ability to make custom edits by cents in the checkout window during redemption

Loyalty points needs CUSTOMIZATION!!
The way you have it set up makes for some complicated math. We should be able to customize all earnings and redemptions in values less than zero to make the 1- 3% math work out better. Also need a way to customize adding loyalty points for things other than purchases so that customers can be automatically rewarded with a set points value for things like social tags, referrals, etc. PLEASE OVERHAUL THIS!! In the day and age where online retailers and big-box stores like Sephora and Nordstrom offer the same products with super sweet rewards, we need this in order to compete with them for retail sales.

We need to be able to customize loyalty points on a per client basis. We need to reward our most loyal VIP clients to incentivize them to remain loyal. Example: recent price increase, we want VIP clients to earn double loyalty points to get rewarded quicker.

We want to give loyalty points for product purchases, but not for the green circle fee, which is automatically added under products. It would be nice to be able to exclude this

There are lots of ideas in here about loyalty. The system needs an upgrade to be used. It is confusing the way you have the math set up. It needs an expiration to create urgency. It also needs custom settings. I cannot use loyalty points AND packages as the discounts are too much combined. You should be able to assign points to purchases. I would for example, like to exclude packages as they are already discounted. It is frustrating that it is ALMOST there. I need points for birthdays and referrals. It should automatically email clients when points are accrued.

I think it would be great if we could expand how we award loyalty points. For example:
* 5 points for every dollar you spend for services, products, gift cards, upgrades, even your monthly membership fee.
* 50 points for booking your monthly appointment online.
* 50 points for pre-booking your appointment for next month at the time of your monthly service.
* 500 points for joining the Membership Program
* 1000 points for every friend you referWould help to encourage behavioral change in guests that benefit the salon.
