Immediate Confirmation Texts
our clients would prefer to receive a text immediately after booking rather than an email. An option for both would be great. If someone makes an appointment with us over the phone we prefer to just take their number down rather than have them spell out an email.

If a client confirms their email weeks in advance, they do not get the reminder text and will either miss the appointment or think they do not have one scheduled. Reminder texts should still go out even if an email was confirmed.

clients don't get reminders if they book within one day of their appointment. we frequently have people call and ask when their appointment is because they didn't get a reminder

We love BLVD; however, appointment booking confirmation texts are highly requested. This feature is available with other salon software systems and has been a major reason to consider other options. Please place it as a high priority with the development team. Thanks!

Clients should get a text a text when they first book an appointment and also get a reminder text two days prior.

Client should receive text message reminder as well if the appointment was confirmed or not confirmed. I've had so many clients confirm their appointment the day of and forget about it, which leads back to no text message reminders being sent. I can't tell you how many times this has happened to me and as a med spa owner, this really hurts my business!!

Automatic onfirmation text immediately after booking - option to send either text, email, or both. This is crucial.
A lot of clients prefer text. Many people (especially younger folks) are not good at keeping up with their emails/don't have the attention span to check and read emails.
If you can send them automatic reminder texts, why not confirmation as well?

We would love to see an option for a text to be sent to our guests when they book a reservation. Right now the only option we have is email and we get a lot of guests who prefer us to send them a text after they booked their appointment so that they can add it to their schedule.

Upon booking, the salon should have the option of having a text sent to the client instead of an email. Most of our clients prefer text alerts

Our clients have previously liked text confirmations at the time of booking because their smart phones will auto-suggest adding it to their calendar. Plus, many of them would leave the text thread in their phone so they could search for it later if they wanted to remember without contacting us.

BLVD needs to send a text message when a client books an appointment. They get an email, but texting is a more reliable way for them to KNOW they booked an appointment. The system needs to email AND text when an appointment is booked.
