Custom appointment confirmations & reminders
In the dashboard, we would like custom fields to add custom copy for text messages and emails and select which method of communication we prefer for reminders and confirmations.
For example, most of our clients utilize SMS vs. emails and we would like to have the option to turn off email communication and utilize only text. In the Manage Business section, we would like to add a Client Communication section so we can have more options for communication. The options should be for both separately ie.
Appointment Confirmations:
- Text Messages
- Emails
- Both
Appointment Reminders:
- Text Messages
- Emails
- Both
Reminder frequency could also be listed here for when the client should be receiving the confirmation or reminder(s).
Boulevard's automated confirmation and reminders SMS are able to be customized with additional verbiage, links to forms and appointment details, and cancellation policy. Locations are able to select whether they'd like opted-in clients to receive notifications via sms.

We have had some patients reply to their appointment reminder to cancel/reschedule. Given the amount of emails we get in a day, these could easily be missed and cause a cancellation fee to be charged when it shouldn't. Can a 'DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL' verbiage be added to these emails?

I think we should be able to edit the reminder text message that goes out to my clients. I want to enforce a confirmation rule through the text.

What is the point of text reminders and confirmations if it does not include all of the appointment details and location information?

Our business changed locations and we want to know how to tell clients of that via text but we can't edit confirmation texts. Very inconvenient.

We recently opened a second location and the confirmation texts are not detailed enough. We would love the option to customize the automatic text confirmation that is sent to our guests. We would then be able to let them know what location their reservation is at along with the address and we would also be able to include any other promotional information for them.
We are just having to send a second text to them with the location information. I know the emails are more detailed, but not all guests have their email on file or they just respond to their texts more often than the emails.

The current reminder in our system has the option to reply with a "Yes" to confirm appointment. But we have clients that reply with No to cancel and they don't know it doesn't cancel their appointment. Rather than having a cancellation option in the SMS reminder, we would like to add verbiage to the text that says they need to contact the office to cancel or reschedule. The email cancellation option is fine but our texts go out the day before and not everyone follows direction. I would like the option to customize our SMS reminders.

We should be able to customize confirmation text messages to clients so we can verbalize our cancellation policy again if needed to fill any "loopholes" clients try and use on us so they don't feel they can try to not pay for a missed service or late cancellation. And there should be another SMS text that is sent out before 24 hour window to be able to Y confirm or C cancel appointment (but not after 24 hour window)

There is not enough information in the current confirmation texts, so we end up having to call the guests and tell them our policies, etc. We should be able to customize the texts like we can the confirmation emails.

It would be great if we can modify/edit the notification emails that the customers receive when an appointment is booked, confirmed, or checkout.

Complete HTML control so we can have our emails match our own brands would be great. Similar to what Acuity offers. And it makes no sense to have "powered by boulevard" in client emails since we pay a ton of money for this monthly!
I'm also hosting forms outside of BLVD (transferring was too time consuming) and clients MISS THE LINK to fill them out because I can't change the email hierarchy. This is not good.

They should receive a text message when the appointment is booked. Most clients don't use their emails so when the appointment is booked via phone call (the day before the appointment is) they forget if they don't receive a text message saying "appointment booked on ________. See you soon!"

They should receive a reminder text (different from confirmation text) 3-4 hours before their appt "reminder you have an appt at _____ for TIME - see you soon!"

Text message appointment reminders need to go out prior to 6PM EST. This is too late in the day for a text.

Adding additional times for the text reminder to go out would amazing! I'd love to send one out 24 hrs (already implemented) then another reminder text 2-4 hours before their appointment to put it in front of the clients face again so they don't forget or run too late. No shows and last minute cancellations are killing the books and it's pretty obvious folks just aren't planning their commute or day very well. extra reminders might solve this issue.
