Ability to disable new Duo checkout flow
On June 6, we released toggles within your hardware settings that will allow you to turn on or off the "Confirm Visit" and "Confirm Total" screens in the Duo Checkout flow. See our Changelog post here to learn how you can flip these toggles and shorten the checkout experience!

Really wished there was a way to disable the new update. This latest one for check out is seriously doing the most. We are always so busy and I find myself at the front desk having to stop and walk our clients through it. Before, it was so quick and easy. There’s no reason to confirm twice. Also, I noticed clients who stop in just for product (no apt) it still says confirm your visit twice.

please change checkout back to old way. too many steps and asked to confirm 2x is so confusing. old way was easier.

The initial confirmation page is very confusing to everyone. Was this a requested feature? Can we have the option to disable that screen at the business or location level?

Guests (and our front desk staff) are confused at the confirmation screen at the beginning of the checkout process and then again at the end. Is this something that can be removed or made optional? Was it actually requested by someone?

The new pinpad updates do not work in our salon. Before the check out process was so simple and easy. Now front desk finds themselves walking every single customer thru the checkout process and having to ask them to not forget to tip at the very end. You go thru so many steps and it feels like its done and approved, then it asks for a tip at the very end. As stylists who thrive on tips this part of the update makes very little sense to us and customers - why is the tip now an after thought after you've approved and tapped.

Agree! Let us decide the flow. Our top 2 providers do not accept tips, so now we have to remember to tell the client "Please don't tip them." It would be nice if we the admin could apply tipping options per provider.

I don't mind the change, and tipping after card use is a better flow and what consumers are used to. The only gripes I have with it is that it is slower. I don't think clients need to have a confirm page prior to inserting card. It would save everyone time to have summary of charges at same step of insert card. Lastly I wish there was a visual indicator to the client of the steps and where they are in the process, this might cause clients to move through the screens more quickly
