Allow clients to select time before professional in Online Booking
I noticed when clients go to book online they are first asked to pick a professional before picking the day in which they'd like to book. My biggest concern with this is that if a client needs a particular day but their usual tanner isn't scheduled and we do have an alternative tanner for that day, the client will be unaware they can still book that particular day.

When booking online, allow patients to choose service and best time for them. And then show who is available at or around preferred time.

We have 2 new providers with schedules we are trying to fill on specific days. As of right now, the patient has to select a service then choose provider which them gives the days available. The issue they always want to select the provider with the busiest schedule and we have no way to push new clients to the rest of the team. Is there a way to have them select the day first then to see who is available that day for the service they want??? Or, for us to direct link to a particular day so that we can fill up an open schedule for a particular provider that has a slow day, so we when we add an incentive and post it on our social media the booking link takes them directly to the service they want on that particular day then gives them the time options? That way the provider has already been selected? Some variation of this will help drive business to new providers that need it.

this is a big issue for us too. some of our clients only want to see certain providers and they need to see their availability for the week to decide what time to book. im currently keeping my vagaro account active in the background bc of this

That this is not built is an issue. It is not a good booking experience and is a turn-off I think as it is for new clients specifically. We know that seeing faces builds trust in marketing. No faces are seen in the only booking flow that has new clients.
Currently, the only people who really can use the widget well are return clients as they know exactly who they are looking for. Right now if you want to switch proviers at the end you can...sort of but not if there is no other slot at the right time. You really need to see who is working on what day to pick.
Look at all the comments below...I have a feeling we are losing a lot of people due to this. Our abandoned cart rate is fairly significant.
Return clients will return, but new ones HAVE to be convinced and booking blind is not convincing. I would love to see this updated.

Why is this waitlisted? It's critical. It's cost my business so much. our 13 years of growth have gone backwards since switching to blvd because our clients can't see the whole schedule and all of the therapists' availabilty and it's just so frustrating for clients to do online booking. please, please, please, please fix this.

The booking flow is in general not right. I totally agree. They should be able to see who is working on what day. I know it is frustrating as clients have told me. Anytime people are frustrated they leave.

Or at the least a “request” of more than one provider so they can select their favorites!

Clients have complained that they cannot see the full schedule of who is available that day like in our old system. Would it be possible for them to see that instead of being forced to pick one therapist at the very beginning of booking?

Clients have requested that they want to see the stylist's availability for the day at once instead of just the first available or individual times. This allows clients to decide which person they want to book with and what time would work best for them. We had it with our previous booking system and it was a big plus for clients.

We have had clients say they want to see everyone's availability for the day at once instead of just first available or individual times. This helps them decide which person they want to try and what time would work best for them. We had it with our previous booking system and it was a big plus for clients.

We are seeing several requests from clients that they wish to see multiple servers providers schedules for the day. Our majority clientele generally knows what day they went to come in and wants to select a service provider from that list based on the day, rather than vice versa.

Clients need to see more than one service provider at a time in order to make an informed decision to book an appointment. At this time, they have to toggle back and forth many times. It is very inefficient. This is a feature of many other booking softwares and should be available.

The ability for clients to select a date to view all staff working and their availability.

when we used booker, our clients could basically view an entire day's availability. they miss being able to do that. they'd often scan the openings with different therapists and choose a time and therapist that works best for them. Especially useful if they are booking for a couple. But now they have to choose a time without being able to see who all is available that day and at what times. Can they have a more comprehensive view of their options (times and service providers) before having to select a time?

I think this could be a very helpful option for people who want to request 1 of 3 people or something where they can see who the service will be with on the day and time that works best for them.

At current the options are first available and book by service provider. If a client had the intent of booking next Wednesday at 4pm with no qualms about who is doing it, they would themself have to workaround and either just select a service provider and trial and error until they got the time they wanted or go through first available and do the same.
Perhaps the solution is changing the words of "book first available" to book by time. The current wording is misleading to consumers (especially first time) because it signals to them they cannot book a specific time in the future unless they are familiar with our staff or are trial and erroring to get there.
If the row was "Book by time, first available TODAY at 3pm" that would contain the most information and also not lose potential clients due to a misunderstanding.

From Rasa (No Longer a client of ours)
-The online booking process for some of our clients was difficult because they like to see what their day/time options for multiple therapists at one time. With Blvd you could only see this one therapist at a time, and only after putting the session type in their "cart" first.

For new clients or clients that trust the quality of a business, they don't necessarily need a single service provider. By forcing them to select a certain staff member, we're potentially limiting their options to come in at what might be a convenient time for them. I suggest an option at the top of the staff selection bar that is "any" "pick stylist based on time selection". I do believe this will increase revenue and also lessen the barrier for a new client to come into the shop based on their own booking without worrying about who to choose.

With Booker when booking online you pick a time and it brings up all availability with all stylists for that service and time. Clients often see multiple professionals for services like styling so they like to have a choice. When you have to pick the professional first if the professional isnt available at a specific time you have to go back to the beginning of the search and put another professional in and start over. It would be good to have a time based search option that shows all professional availability like in Booker. Thanks

In our salon model a lot of customers go to multiple stylists for styling so the time is more important than the stylist. In Booker when a customer books online they select a service and time and all the professionals available around that time for that service come up to be selected. In Blvd currently they have to go back to the selection start point to find someone they've seen before and like to perform that service. If multiple stylist options could appear based on service and time it would be helpful.
