NEW vs. CURRENT Clients Online Booking
We have an issue with New Patients/clients booking under existing patients. New Patients require additional time for their appointment. This creates a nightmare for our front desk, since many times these are missing - which leads to a poor customer experience, when they show and there isn't enough time allowed for their appointment. It would be great, if there was a question that could be asked at the beginning of online booking. "Are You Currently a Patient at...? Yes or No. Then based off that question they would be show a list of services they can book. Or, maybe there is a more seamless way this can occur, if the customer isn't in the database, we can control the services they can book online. Thank you.

For new clients, there are a # of services we prefer they not book for their first appointment. We'd like the ability to turn off services for new clients of our salon.

Limited online booking for first time guest would be my preferred method. I want them to book online, I just want to make sure they are booking properly, and sometimes the full menu of options allows for them to make inappropriate choices.

This COULD be a great feature, however not holding my breath... There are several service providers that do not take new clients. Making them not available for online booking isn't an option as this hurts the clients that should be "allowed". Should be simple enough to have a check box per service provider to "do not allow new clients to book online".

Patients often select "individual appointments" when booking, when they are new. Since it is not shown as a request, it is auto confirmed which leads to issues in scheduling when patients haven't been seen at our office before.

For example I require a consultation for new clients. I dont want new clients to be able to book just any service, however I do want existing clients to have the ability to book online but I want everything conveniently bookable online. I started with only having initial consultations bookable online but since there is no way to separate the services that left current clients with no way to book online. Luckily my website has a system for booking appointments, so I now have new client consultations available to be booked online through my website. Then I had to make a client portal accessible only by password that I provide to existing client which is where I connected the blvd booking widget.
It also meant I had to connect the different calendars to each other to prevent double booking. It works but is a massively roundabout way of doing it. -

Would like to be able to set stylists services for existing clients only. "have a code or something that existing clients can use to book with a specific stylist. Or if they have to create an acct and it's tied to a specific stylist...something like that."

We currently have more demand than we have supply at our nail studio and therefore a lot of our regulars are frustrated that they cannot get their next appointment until a month out from their last. So we had the thought of maybe closing our books to new guests until we can hire more. Would be nice to have this flexibility.

Would be nice to be able to set a lead time requirement for certain services so they could only be booked out more than X days ahead.
Example: custom color requires us to phone consult with client for color and also where they are coming from, then order said colors and wait for delivery. So at current we either have the option of having it bookable online and then calling and rescheduling if we need more time to order or we don't have it available for online booking all together.

I am only accepting Haircut clients at our salon. No NEW color services. Only offering to my already existing color clients.
So I don't have that service added to my menu. But I would like my existing COLOR clients to book their color service ONLINE without any new clients allowed to book for color service. Only NEW HAIRCUT clients.
