Custom appointment confirmations & reminders
In the dashboard, we would like custom fields to add custom copy for text messages and emails and select which method of communication we prefer for reminders and confirmations.
For example, most of our clients utilize SMS vs. emails and we would like to have the option to turn off email communication and utilize only text. In the Manage Business section, we would like to add a Client Communication section so we can have more options for communication. The options should be for both separately ie.
Appointment Confirmations:
- Text Messages
- Emails
- Both
Appointment Reminders:
- Text Messages
- Emails
- Both
Reminder frequency could also be listed here for when the client should be receiving the confirmation or reminder(s).
Boulevard's automated confirmation and reminders SMS are able to be customized with additional verbiage, links to forms and appointment details, and cancellation policy. Locations are able to select whether they'd like opted-in clients to receive notifications via sms.

The ability to send either an email or an SMS reminder to clients when editing an appointments. Only having the option to send an email reminder is limiting when that email could be going to their spam folder, or are not being checked at all. SMS give us a more direct line to the client.

Would like to add the cancellation policy link included in the appointment reminder via text message. The Client Instructions can be duplicated in the Manage tab to include a section for customized notes for text messages.

Ability to customize text for msg notifications that result from a client confirming their appointment. Add additional details to the "Thank you, you are confirmed" text.

We would like clients to get reminders 72 hours in advance

Appointment reminders/confirmations can be customized per the client need i.e. rather than send 48 hours in advance, customer would like to send 72 hours in advance.
