This is absolutely essential. Quickbooks right now IMO is not reporting revenues correctly. It simply reports based on Cash received vs actual transactions during a period. API integration means we more accurately can report on the business consistently. This also would mean we can accurately report on Tips, Payment Processing and Discounts too.
