Booking interval customization by service provider
I have one staff member who needs his booking intervals online to be every 30 minutes only, not less or more. It would be useful to have booking intervals be a choice for each service instead of 15 minutes or 30 minutes for all services.

Some staff prefer to have larger appointment blocks to see everything and also if some staff are doing 10 min services back to back versus 30 min, it helps with showing all the details. This however makes the calendar view be very long (top to bottom) and not fit on the screen. For some users such as managers or front desk, it would be more beneficial to have more appointments fit on the schedule. If the Time Interval setting was user locked but moved from location settings to just user settings this would solve this.

obtaining those intervals would increase revenue allowing more appointments in available hours

It would greatly help my business out if we had the capability to do custom intervals for each staff member. Some Barbers need to be in 30 min intervals and some need to be in 40 min intervals . Please Help

Current options stipulate that the booking intervals are in increments of 15min. For businesses that have for example service providers working on 30 min intervals, the logical evolution in their productivity would be to move down to 25/20 min intervals so there is more client/revenue flow.

The business would like the ability to have precision scheduling and it be specific to SP's or different per SP

Should be able to make booking intervals for each stylist independently of the entire shop. Some stylists do 30min cuts and others do 45. The current system can't accommodate for the difference, and we are having to reschedule have the staff's appointments. Previous system allowed for each stylist to have a different interval for more precise bookings for their service times.

Stylist who only do haircuts know how long each appt will be. Now a client or receptionist can book any random time such as 2:10pm. My stylist either book 30, 45, 1hr depending on the cut. In order to ensure we are making the most of the stylist day we call and move start times around so we dont have stylist with chucks of time that they cant do a service. Blocked timings has worked really really well at other salons ive been at. What I mean is lets say a client wants to come in at 2:10pm this actually takes 2 appts now because not many clients dont want to come in at 240pm, they will book for 3pm. With blocked timings it only allows clients to be booked at specific intervals, 20, 30 etc depending on how much time the stylist needs for that cut. such as, a stylist books 30 min short cuts and starts at 11am leaves at 4pm. Blocked timings would have chunks of 30mins starting at specific times in this example it would be 11am, 1130am, 12pm,1230p, 1pm etc for their day. If a client or receptionist clicks on 1140am, the appt is booked at 1130am and another appt CANNOT be booked until 12pm. This would help us in so many ways from stylist utilization, maximize the shop revenue and stylist earnings because they wont have the small 5 and 10min openings that is money out the window. Thanks

I would assume in absolute most salon environments, that each service provider is using the same intervals for scheduling for more than 95% of their days. Because this is the case that the only specificity is determined solely by the "whom" is performing services rather than the "when", logic should be that the option is mainly selected on the service provider level and secondly the per shift.

We have two stylists that work with associates that need to book every 45 minutes. The rest of the team needs to book on the 15. It is imperative that the bookings offered are every 45 minutes on the schedule online for those two providers... there should be an option to only book them every 45 minutes and everyone else on the 15.
