Ability to limit dates, days, or times that a service can be booked
We offer seasonal services, and we just had someone schedule our fall Pumpkin Spice service in January. It would be nice to limit the calendar time that these services are available to be booked.

allow for stylists to decide what days they want to double book and what days they dont

Would love for services to have the option of being booked like a package, where a client is purchasing one voucher instead of purchasing for a specific date and time. We have at home services and the schedule depends on the availability of the therapist and client. Currently, the only way to go about this is listing it under "packages" even though it isnt one, which means clients will have a hard time finding and booking.

Having the option to adjust online booking availability-by day of the week-would greatly benefit any salon or spa with multiple staff members. This change would help in maximizing open time for booking when stylists and salons have varying hours of operation.

Yes!! Like as an owner I'm working 10 hour days but don't wish to be booked out all 10 hours while my staff has 2 appts.
If I can set to only do 5-6 appts a day is a well balanced day for me but right now I have to manually block time out between appts to space them out through the day.
Would be great that once I get 5 appts, it'll just take me off the booking options for the day automatically.

Limit users to how far in advance they can book an appointment for specific services. MindBody offers this.

There are certain times in my schedule that I only want to be booked for certain services. This would be especially convenient for people who want to open their schedule randomly but don't want to just get booked for a brow wax because that's really not worth it coming in for that small service.

This is a great idea. Setting pre-book rules for individual services makes sense. A service that may require a practitioner may need online limits (i.e. only bookable 12+ hours in advance) where non-practitioner based services (resource, or a sauna for example) we would like to have the public be able to book up to 30min before.
An additional way to add useful function would be to make practitioners and resources have individual book ahead settings!

Would like the ability to prevent same day bookings by service type or provider.

We would like to set some services to only be bookable on specific days/times (at the business level, with the option of location overrides) without needing to use the resources feature as a workaround.

the business wants to be able to limit who can be booked and for what services when clients are booking online.

Ability to limit days that certain services can be booked with certain service providers. For example, a service provider who performs only waxing on Monday - Thursday and only facials on Friday - Sunday.

Customizable rules/filters for certain appointment types for online booking. I.e. - certain appointment types can only be booked if the client profile meets certain variables.
Example A: A lash lift or brow lamination cannot be scheduled within 8 weeks from the last one.
Example B: A client cannot online book a regular 60 minute lash fill if they have not been seen for this appointment within the last 3 weeks.
Example C: A client cannot online book a "Returning Client Full Set" (discounted from a new client full set), unless they have been in for regular lash fills within the last 365 days.

A more generalized version of this could be the ability to set times that a provider can only provide certain services. For example, I have a nail technician who is also an esthetician, it can be beneficial to have times that she can only do nails or only do esthetics. Right now there isn't an easy way to do that.

Ex: I have an employee who will be having a minor surgery and will be in recovery for a week. She will be able to preform certain services that week, but not for all that she offers. She doesn't want to turn off her online booking for those specific services because in that week that she is recovering she wants clients to be able to book those services for time after that week of recovery.
It would be nice to be able to select a set duration of time a specific service can not be booked and once that time is over it opens it back up, but clients will still be allowed to book their services online during that time for weeks or months after. -

The business would like the ability to choose when staff can be bookable online for a service. They would like to be able to choose a window or timeframe. They would also like to say that they can not be booked 48 hours or sooner to the appointment.

The ability to only accept a max number of appointments of a certain service. For example, I would only like to accept 5 appointments a week for a Touch-Up Service. This service is a lower cost item and by limiting these types of appointments, the calendar can be more even with service types.

These booking rules would be like, "No highlights after 3pm", or "No haircuts on Saturdays" etc.

We REALLY need to be able to limit when customers with memberships are able to book. For example, we'd love to sell a weekday membership to our bathhouse, but need for the online booking to only allow for weekdays for membership holders. Can you do this or can we pay someone to customize this options for us?

We need to be able to choose specific services for stylists for each day - for example: some stylists do not do Blow outs on Saturdays but we cannot close them off for online booking for Blow Outs on JUST Saturdays.
Another example: Stylist just wants to do Extension clients on Tuesdays but we cannot only have online booking for them open on Tuesdays.
Tried to create a Resource to attach a secondary Extension Category to stylist as the only availability on Tuesday, but it is impractical for online booking since clients don't know which Extension Category to choose and adding her specific name would create an air of favoritism we don't subscribe to here. So, all-in-all a solution, but one we can't truly implement.
Choosing who does what on what days is a more succinct scheduling method.
