Streamline MD signoff process
In its current state, it appears that the medical director must individually click on each date to determine if there are charts requiring review or sign-off. This workflow presents a challenge. Platforms like Aesthetic Record streamline this process by enabling providers to directly send completed charts to the medical director for review, simplifying their responsibilities. Requiring the medical director to manually review each day’s records adds unnecessary complexity, particularly given the demanding schedules of both the providers and the medical director.
To address this inefficiency, could a new feature or link be implemented that allows providers to send the providers completed charts directly to the medical director for review and approval? This adjustment would significantly enhance workflow efficiency for all parties involved. I am certain others can relate.
For Example:
Link Tabs
Chart Audit
Signed Procedures - Everything listed below to include (ACTIONS) in case the provider made a mistake and forgot to send off to the MD
Sent To MD
Signed By MD
In the Signed by MD there should be tabs such as procedure information, MD name, Client, Clinic, Treatment Summary, Latest Note by MD
Unfortunately, If this critical action is not completed by the end of December 2025, I regret to say that I will have no choice but to discontinue my business with Boulevard and merge back to AR.

State requires 20% of patient charts to be signed off by overseeing physician. System needs to allow providers to add signature tab on certain charts. EMR system has no way to be selective on what charts are being signed off.

I have this issue as well. My Medical Director is also frustrated with this process coming from aesthetic record. Her recommendations are: "There was a list of all of the notes that needed to be signed which I could click through one by one to sign with a pre-saved signature or I could select multiple and sign them at once." She has also mentioned having an option to select specific dates, ex: Jan 1 - Jan 31. Once selected, giving a list of all charts needing to be reviewed and signed. Then from there streamlining the process as mentioned above. This is a critical issue for our clinic as well, potentially altering the medical director role.

Implement a centralized dashboard to streamline chart management, providing real-time visibility of all patient charts categorized as pending submission, under review, or ready for signature. The system would include automated notifications to alert staff and the medical director, digital sign-off capabilities for efficiency, and ensure compliance with clear audit trails, improving workflow transparency and speeding up chart completion.
