Net service/product/package sales should not include tips or at the very least you should be able to filter out tips!
It makes no sense to include tips in net sales if your team members receive their tips or a portion of their tips. That is not revenue - it's tips (totally separate). Why isn't it possible to remove this through a simple filter?
I've spoken to multiple team members (chat, chatbot, tier 1, and tier 2) and no one could understand or explain how this misleads the numbers. I was told it was a "simple configuration issue" and pushed off to the next person - only to waste an hour of my time trying to explain that a sale is a sale and should equal a sale but I cannot pull any data points on it. Then told it was an issue with my manual data capture. It's not. If I sell something for $100 and mark it as a $100 sale it's $100. Not $120 when a $20 tip is left. It makes the numbers misleading when you have thousands of dollars in tips per team member and it's a SIMPLE fix. Once I dug around I found that the issue is WHAT is considered part of a net sale in the system. Really obnoxious!
